Si Frater's DJ journey began in the early 90s, spinning his favourite dance tunes every Friday night on a popular Yorkshire pirate radio station — right as the rave scene was exploding into life.

Driven by a genuine love for the music and the culture around it, Si's radio show quickly built a following, and a local record store took notice — sponsoring him with the latest vinyl releases and white label promos to test out on air each week.

Bookings followed. Record box in hand and packed with the biggest tunes, Si started DJing at events across the North of England, and launched a weekly dance night at his local venue to give the freshest music a proper platform.

Just over 15 years ago, that passion became Rejuvenation — now one of the UK's most loved Old Skool parties, held three times a year at Beaver Works, Leeds. What started as a one-off event in 2012, filling a single room with a couple of hundred ravers, has grown into a 6 arena event drawing 1,500+ people from across the UK, Europe and beyond. They come together to dance to Old Skool, Hardcore, Trance & Hard House, Breakbeat, Hard House and Italian — a true celebration of the sounds that started it all.

The Old Skool resurgence has brought Si's record collection back out in force, with sets at some of the biggest names in the scene across the UK and Europe, including:

Cream / Retro / Raindance / Bowlers / Fantazia / Life / History of House / Drop the Beat / Classix / Forbidden Forest / Northern Project / The Secret / More Cake / Back to the Old Pool / Back to the Dock / The Zoo Project / Es Paradis / Strictly Old Skool Ibiza / Unity in the Sun, Corfu / Tranzmission / Tekknozid, Berlin / Rezerection / Back by Dope Demand / Sound / Love Sensation / Big Fish Little Fish / Vintage / Manchester Adored — and many, many more.
